Document Splitting Issue

Hi Team,

Currently we are using ECC 6.0 version and here i activated document splitting and mandatory as profit centre. for classify GL accounts for document splitting it is working fine. It is not working for Document splitting which is i maintained in as Profitcentre mandatory without profit center also it is posting . The same settings i maintained in last project there it is working fine but here it is not working. I did not receive any warning or error message by default it is posting the entry.

How to control pls suggest me.

I have checked all setting but still it is the same problem.

Hi

Check whether you have maintained the following settings:

1. IMG>Financial Accounting (New)>Financial Accounting Global Settings>Ledgers>Ledger>Assign Scenario and Customer Field to Ledger>Assign Scenario

Here, the scenario FIN_PCA should be assigned for the profit center based splitting to work

2. IMG>Financial Accounting (New)>General Ledger Accounting>Business Transactions>Document Splitting>Define Document Splitting Characteristics for General Ledger Accounting

Here the field Profit center should be mandatory along with Zero Balance clearing.
