Hi ,
Has anyone got the foloowing error when adding a PI 711 system to the CEN in Solman 7.01 :
( SAPCCM4X.BRGPID01.00 ) Error when sending the configuration data to the agent
( SAPCCM4X.BRGPID01.00 ) SoapFaultCode:5 Invalid Credentials please check OSS note 927637
I've check sapnote 927637 and added the user ID to global/<sid>adm to parameter service/admin_users on the PI system but this did not help.
Our user use the format globa\<sid>adm to log on to servers.
The password and credentials are ok.
We are using windows servers.
Any advice appreciated.

Hi Amit,
I had checked this note but it's not useful to us. It looks at turning off the security settings which I don't want to do.
I get the impression the issue is because we use global\sidadm and sap only allows you to enter sidadm even though it say it checks all trusted domains. I've my suspicions around this claim.

Hi
chk this [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/e9/ee5799c7e24628abb32f2253382828/content.htm|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi71/helpdata/en/e9/ee5799c7e24628abb32f2253382828/content.htm]
Invalid Credentials exception occurs
The host agent authenticates the connection user (sapadm) with the help
of operating system user authentication facilities
(For example, PAM on UNIX).
The host agent throws the Invalid Credentials
exception if this authentication fails,
when you start, stop or relocate a service.
Perform the following activities:
1. Ensure that the connection user is available on the host,
and you are using the correct password.
2. On UNIX, verify your PAM setup.
For more information, refer SAP note 927637
Thanks,
Jansi
