Session Management in SAP ePortal(Java WebDynpro)

Hi ,

I we are using SAP ePortal 7 .

I want to store object in session(HttpSession session ). Plesae tell me how could I acieve this using Java webdynpro in SAP ePortal.

    Hi,

    If you're only caring about String objects, the easiest would be to use the Client Data Bag for storing session variables (String objects) using the WDScopeUtil class http://help.sap.com/javadocs/NW04S/SPS09/wd/com/sap/tc/webdynpro/services/session/api/WDScopeUtil.html

    You can Use the code like this

    Setting in session.

    WDScopeUtil.put(WDScopeType.CLIENTSESSION_SCOPE, "Key", value);

    Getting the Value from session:

    WDScopeUtil.get(WDScopeType.CLIENTSESSION_SCOPE, "Key");
