Last Alphabet Getting Trimmed in Formula

Hi All,

We have one Planning Sequence in which we are populating values for variable for internal order, say

vintord with option multiple single values in planning filter and used the Planning function formula as,

DATA IGRP TYPE GINTORD.
FOREACH IGRP IN SELECTION.
{GNUM01,555555,COMPCODE,#,#,IGRP,Z,USERID} = 1.
.
.
ENDFOR.

We have set the char length of GINTORD as 20 characters in BW.

We have same setup across D-Q-P systems.

I have given input as 0AB_CST.INS which also available in masterdata table of the GINTORD.

But while executing the planning sequence it is giving an error as,

Please enter a valid value for characteristic GINTORD

Value of characteristic GINTORD: 0AB_CST.IN is not included in selection

Value 0AB_CST.IN for characteristic Internal Order is not valid.

It is trimming last alphabet of the input, in P system; while in D and Q it is working perfectly fine.

But when entered the input like 0AB_CSTMNC it is working perfectly across all systems.

Please help me why this is happening and only in P?

Thanks in Advance.

Regards,

Prashant Vankudre

We had raised this issue to SAP and has been resolved now.

The Problem is with the back-end code of Planning Function which were been corrupted.
