hi,

in Gateway monitor(SMGW) - workprocess column shows 1-. Is there any parameter settings, which would help to show the workprocess # associated with each gateway/conversation id.

Thanks,

Raj

Use layout settings. Menu " Settings ---> Layout"

Thanks.. If you read my question, I have already displayed "Workprocess" column. However, the data displayed is "1-".

Would like this displays correct work process #.

basically I am trying to follow through the Conv.ID of gateway process to trace the work process. If any other way, if we could get work process # associated with a specific gateway is also welcome.

Thanks again for your time.

Thanks,

Raj

Hello Rajagopal

Gateway service just helps the connectivity with other systems and helps the inbound or outbound calls to establish the calls using RFCs.

All you can do is you can see the logged on systems on SMGW .

It shows the RFC which is being used to connect the system .

Other than that you don't have any option as such you mentioned.

I hope this helps you. About traces I think you can looking into Gateway traces in work directory.

Hi,

YOu can increase the gateway trace for which destination you want to analyse. Then check the trace file, you will find the wp number which is sending or reciving the request, you will see as below:

GwReadSapWpRq: request:request from sap wp 8

Hope this helps.

Vamshi.
