Portal Login via AD ID fails

Hi Guys,

I have done portal AD integration many time but now I have stuck. Hope you guys can help.

I have integrated a AD with portal, Connection test is successful. I am able to search the users from this AD.

but when I try to login to portal with any AD ID it fails. "Authentication fail". I have tried again and again with keep changing user password also still no luck.

I tried with the Service (used to connect portal with AD) user and it's working.

Do we need to give some rights to the user on AD to login to SAP Portal ??
