How to list the user exits for the appointed message type?

I want to extend a message type,now I have only leaved one step:Code the user exit to do whatever you want with the user segments.

I don't know which user exit I should code,who can help me?

so appreciated for your help.

    I don't think, you can extend a message type. I am sure, you can extend a IDoc Type.
