Compensatory off in Time evaluation

Hi,

Please go through the scenario and provide inputs...

when ever an Employee works on a holiday he is eligible for a compensatory off.

Employee must use this Comp Off with in a period of 90 days.

Issue...

I have created a absence quota type for Compensatory off

and

Created an absence type comp Off.

Written PCR for updating Quota type compensatory off whwn ever an employee works on holiday....

but the issue is with the validity dates...

after the Time evaluation systen creates an entry in ABWKONTI with start date 01.01.XXXX and End Date 31.12.XXXX

and all the comp off's generated are cumulated and displayed in one line and with this the logic of validity and deduction periods is gone....

meaning employee can avail the comp off during entire calendar year.

is there a posibility where in system creates multiple entries for one quota type with different validity dates?

for example ....

01.01.2011 is a Holiday and 05.02.2011 is also a holiday ...lets assume the employee was at work on both these days...

what I need in ABWKONTI is

QT Start Date End Date Number Used Time Unit

01 02.01.2011 02.04.2011 1 0 Days

01 05.02.2011 06.05.2011 1 0 Days

please help!!!!

Hi,

You can control the Validity and deduction interval from 'Define Generation Rules for Quota Type Selection' configuration.

Path is-
SPRO->Time Management->Time Data Recording and Administration->Managing Time Accounts
Using Attendance/Absence Quotas->Calculating Absence Entitlements->Rules for Generating
Absence Quotas->Define Generation Rules for Quota Type Selection

Within 'Define Generation Rules for Quota Type Selection', there is 4th node 'Validity/deduction interval' used for controlling validity and deduction period.

These configurations are already in place. But still when i run time evaluation the processing block displays these intervals properly but the output contains only one entry with 01.01.xxxx to 31.12.xxxx and all the leaves generated sofar are cumulated and the concept of validity is ignored....

Am I clear? please let me know if you need further info.

Thanks,

HI,

Check with validity and Deduction dates, Use time eveluation  as option/Calender,

and regarding validity dates as +90 days check with Relative days ,if you eneter relative validity as 90 days the generated comp off will be valid for 90days from the date generated,

Thanks and Regards,
