Console Output !!!! Need Help Badly !!!!

Hi Guys,

I just need some infe, I have System.out.println("**line1**"); in my code does anyone know where I can view the output, I was searching the Netweaver Studio Developer to find some Console out, but it only comes up when I am running a java application, how do I view it when I deploaying a PAR file on my portal server, in Tomcat we can see the output in the server but in EP how do we do it can someone please help in this.

    you should use a logger. See the docu for further information.

    e.g.

    ILogger logger = PortalRuntime.getLogger();

    There are some standardloggers already defines You can use them for the beginning.

    Look for ...\server\managers\console_logs on your portal server. I don't know what the exact path would be on your portal server. If you can't find it, then do a search for 'console_logs'. You should find it then. You will find 2 kinds of logs there. You will find the console output and java error logs.
