Maintenance order External service ( cost element)

Dear all,

in maintenance order when i change control key pm01 to pm03 , for external service i define all things like material group , pur. group, service text , quantity , unit and price

then message come to me is xxxxxxxxx gl account is not maintained in xxxx comapny code.

generally i have seen in some client their is option of entering cost element in next to next column to gross price

but here i did not find ( cost element ) field .

where this setting can be changed

and how and where can i remove default cost element

    Hi,

    The cost element is specific to each service line. The same field at purchasing level on the operation is set to display only and will be blank. On older releases it is possible that cost element is maintained only at operation level. In that case system will not allow entry of cost element on the service lines.

    Default cost element is set for the relevant external procurement profile, Customizing is:

    > Maintenance and Service Orders > Functions and Settings for Order Types > Create Default Value Profiles for External Procurement
