To avoid triggering mail in Workflow Rule

Hi,

I am using a workflow rule in an agent determination task.This is automatically triggering an email to the agent.

How to avoid this email?

A work item will appear in the Agent Inbox when he get a task. A work item doesn't get send out as an email. (Technically work item is not even an email in SAP)

I believe UWL is actually also reading the agent's work item in CRM.

If the agent does not receive the email, how would he knows a task is routed to him?

Hi,

Task would automatically appear in the agents UWL(Universal worklist).

User can approve or reject here.

Our user doesnt want email to inform about this task.

we have tried replacing the rule with role.But we are not quite sure if this also triggers a mail.

we have notices that no mail is available in SOST but we are unable to really test this in development system since external mail is activated only in production system.
