"Follow-on Document Created" status still showing after PO is deleted

Hello,

I am trying to fix the status of the shopping cart in SRM 7.0 if the line item on the purchase order has been deleted. Currently, when the purchase order line item is deleted, the PO line is removed from the shopping cart but it does not update the status from "Follow-on Document Created". Does anyone know of a way to change that status to "Follow-on Document Deleted" or something similar to that?
