OMSR - Field Groups

Hi,

I have an issue with a field in Material Master (Accounuting - Valuation Class - MBEW-BKLAS). According to OMSR (field selection/field groups) this field is set to optional entry in Material Master. To my understanding, no input is required when this setting is active. For some reason, this field is still displayed as input required in Material Master.

My challenge now is that one end user has by mistake entered a value in the Valuation Class, and since this field appears as required it is not possible to remove the entry made in Material Master - Accouting - Valuation class.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? I have only chekced the field selection customizing in OMSR. Are there additional checks to be done?
