About upgrading from EP5 to EP6

Dear all,

I am now developing custom iView in EP5. At the time when I upgrade the EP5 to EP6, do I need to recompile or even recode my existing custom iView (which is based on EP5)? Or I can simply upload the existing PAR file to EP6?

Hello Sam,

because the structure of a EP Application has changed You have to "reorganize" Your Code, JSPs.....

But Eclipse and the Plugin will do the main work for You. Just import the old PAR-File. With this step a recompilation will start.

The eclipse way is the mnost user friendly way.
