How to get always the same variant when starting the SolMan CRM_DNO_MONITOR

Hi,

since one year we work with the SolMan, in particular the Incident- and Change Management.

We designed over 15 variants with accordant layouts over the Transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR for different service groups.

My question is how to get the correct variant when starting the transaktion without loading it by menu or key funktion (SHIFT + <F5>). Is there a possibility to save a variant which is designed for a group? To get always the same variant when starting the Transaction Monitor.

I know about the User Variant but this is not what I meant.

Hello KRI

You are basically talking about transaction variants. Via transaction SHD0, you can create Transaction Variants. You might want to create different variants for different groups and then based on these variants define a Variant transaction which the group can use as default.

I had this in mind already.

There must be an other possibility because we work with different layouts and for example I get my favorite layout already when I start the transaction monitor. And so do many colleagues, too.

When we create a new layout for a new user we have no possibility to set a value. I assume there must be an unknown table where to find and set the logic interconnection, because a few colleagues have their own layout loaded every time they open this transaction. Maybe you can help again.

It is not possible to share layouts between user groups unfortunately. But the transaction variants should work absolutely fine with your requirement.

You could to create custom t-codes for each group and assign the variants to them.
