Assessment and Distribution cycle not executed

Hi

There are some common centers like Head Office - Finance and IT. There are some branches from where purchase and sale occurs. As a consultant i suggested to allocate these amount in common centers to branch cost centers.

But client told, they don't want to allocate cost. They want to keep amount in common centers only.

So is there any issues or problem in other CO functions (like product costing, etc) if we do not run assessment and distribution cycles.
