Hi SRM expects,

I have 7 years experience in SAP ABAP and SAP PI/XI. But i am planning to learn SAP SRM.

Here I have below doubts reg learning SRM...

What kind of basic knowledge is required and what are all the pre requisites to learn SAP SRM. And how much time is required

Any body have training material/stuff or forums with in SDN or outside SDN please send the links.

Please let me know the SAP SRM standard training material names

what the latest version currently using ...

Pl go through http://help.sap.com/saphelp_srm30/helpdata/en/95/f6a93e08503614e10000000a114084/frameset.htm for basic understanding of SRM.

All config guides for SRM are available on service marketplace.

Latest version being used is SRM 7.0

SRM courses are available at most SAP Universities under the SRM210 id, if possible this is the point to begin with following reading of the initial SRM guides available at http://www.sap.com/srm and http:service.sap.com/srm

Also you could check out any of the available help documentation in the help.sap.com -> Business Suite -> Supplier Relationship Management
