Accessing The Database from a JSP !!!!

Hi,

I am implementing an MVC type structure for my portal application. Can some one tell me how to design my application, I have a JSP with a Dynpage and now from my Dynpage, now from my Dynpage should I call another Dynpage or a Java class.

    Hi Emmanuel,

    The optimal solution would be like this,

    1. Use PageProcessorComponent : Establish the connection with DB and retrieve records from DB and pass it to bean

    2. Bean : Manipulate the data passed by the PageProcessorComponent

    3. JSP : Use the JSP for the presentation layer.

    Note: In PDK examples, the above 3 steps are explained in detail, please go through.
