Copy of RSUSR002 program ..how to proceed?

Hi there,

No expirience with ABAP and need to solve one problem

I am using the SAP standard program RSUSR002 which generates a spool...now I need to generate the results in an excel or csv file.

How could create a copy of RSUSR002 ?

where in the progrran should I change / add the instruction to generate the file?

may I use the same variant used for RSUSR002 ?

Thanks

FedeX

    Hello FedeX 😊

I'm on Release 701 & it generates an ALV output. There are standard ALV functions available to download the report into a local file.

I am using the SAP standard program RSUSR002 which generates a spool...now I need to generate the results in an excel or csv file.

I assume you're running the report in background mode(via some job). In that case you can download the spool to a local file via the menu function:

Spool request -> Forward -> Save to Local File or CtrlShiftF12

I'll suggest you get an ABAPer to help you out!

    Cheers,
