Hi,
We're thinking of using the DI Server instead of the SAPbobsCOM for data access in a new addon we are developing.
One thing that seems to be either missing or not obvious is how to connect to the database using single sign on. I know I can connect by specifying the login name, password, server name, etc in xml, but is it possible to connect to the database using information from the application object, in a similar way the single sign on works with the SAPbobsCOM objects?
Maybe I'm missing the point here and this is not the proper use for the DI server, but we wanted to see if it would improve performance.
Has anyone else tried it?
Thanks for your help
Jon
Hi Jon,
DI Server does not support Single Sign-On.
You will at least have to request the password(s) from the SAP Business One user.
If you think it makes sense to add such a feature, please open a Development request (DRQ) on SAP Service Marketplace.
Thanks,
Frank
