Activating CO FI integration in Live system

Dear All,

The client system has been up and running for past 4 yrs. NewGL functionality is activated, document splitting has been activated.

If I want to activate CO-FI real time integration in this live system, will it be possible. If yes, then what are the steps/reconciliations etc will be required? How do we do this?

IMG>Financial Accounting (New)>FAGS (New)Ledgers-->Real Time Integration Of Controlling with Financial Accounting

Also please create number Range in CO T-Code KANK for object COIN.

Hi Vivek,

That is the configuration setting for activating it. My doubt is that

1) if we activate in a live system with past data of 3-4 years, will it be advisable to do so.

2) what are the programs that would need to be run to ensure the entries are balanced.
