Hi,
I've done a system copy for SAP Netweaver PI 7.11 from Production to Sandbox and would like to know the best way to disable all communication channels prior to starting the Sandbox System.
If possible in the following order: Disable the Adapter Framework Service (Offline - Configtool ??) -> Start the system -> Disable all communication channels -> Enable Adapter Framework Service
Your help will be greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards,

Hi,
Appreciate the feedback. The notes supplied were all applicable for Netweaver 640/700.
Set Adapter Framework service startup to 'manual'.
For 7.1 JEE Engine (and higher):
- start configtool
(usr/sap/<SID>/instance/j2ee/configtool)
- goto the View menu and switch on expert mode
- click on the template
- go to the Filters tab
under Custom Rules section
Action: <start/stop>
Component: service
Vendor Mask: sap.com
Component Name Mask: <service/application name>
Set below parameters to "Stop"
com.sap.aii.af.svc.facade
com.sap.aii.af.int.svc.facade
Select the Add button (if an entry doesn't already exist)
Save Changes
Kind Regards,
Faure.

Hello
Check the note #1395622 Change the startup mode for PI 7.1 JDBC & File JEE services. This describes how you can change the startup mode for the channels.
