Using InfoSet or Remodeling InfoCube?

Hi experts,

I have a new reporting requirement for which I need to include another few chars and 1 or 2 key figures. This information is only relevant for a small part of the records in the current InfoCube (1:10 to 1:20), which means they would be left blank for the major part of the IC content. Thus, I am not really sure whether I should include them in the current InfoCube, as it would become more sparsely distributed. Could you please provide me some advice on each of the following approaches, e.g. advantages & disadvantages or limitation?

1. Using InfoSet to join the relevant data records with the new chars & KFs

2. Remodeling the InfoCube to include these new chars & KFs which are not relevant for most of the existing records

3. Setting up a new InfoCube for the new chars & KFs and report with the existing IC via MultiProvider

Are there any other alternatives for such a scenario?

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

Joon
