User define Function at Mapping Time

Hello Everyone,

My requirement is I input the one value to the user define function (at mapping time). That function calls the RFC to R/3 system and return the 3 output values. Now my question is how can I return 3-output value from the user define function.

What is the other possibility to solve this type of problem?

Where we have one input parameter and more than one output parameter.

If any one did this kind of job. Please give me the idea how can I solve this.

you have to use an advanced functions. Advanced functions return a result list, allowing you to return as many values as required. A good example of doing this is in the mapping document on the SDN.

I had run into similar problems and the best way out is this:

      1. You should get all the field required in a string delimited by ; or whatever tokens you want, in your Java code and return to XSLT

2 Create Hashtable and populate with required values and return to XSLT.
