Dear All
We have a requirement where we need to bundle 20,000 Idocs and then convert into a sigle csv files containing all the records.
Our current PI level in Pi 7.1 SP03, SAP EHP 1 for SAP NetWeaver 7.1
Can our system process such size of data or do we need an upgrade.
regards
Sourabh
Hi Sourabh,
You can also try this approach.... You can configure IDoc Sender Communication Channel enabling the IDoc Packaging option and provide the package size. In the receiver File Communication Channel, use 'RecordsetPerMessage' in the contentconversion parameters as 20,000.
Thanks & Regards

Is it a one time requirement or recurring ?

Dont use BPM in your case,
Best options
Option1)Collect All IDocs in ECC and use HTTP fiel port option to convert the same in to flat file.
Option 2)anyway you are on EHP1 so you can use IDoc sender adapter and specify the number of IDoc's to collect.

You might want to check this [blog|http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/14425] [original link is broken] [original link is broken] [original link is broken];..
IMHO, still processing 20 thousand idocs and send as one flat file is still large file and performance overhead will certainly possible. Try to do multimapping. I meant idoc sender adapter packaging like 250 idocs at a time....
