What is the impact of missing MDRE(RMMDVM10)?

Hi SAP MM Guru,

We set up planning file creation program (RMMDVM20) before MRP run batch job

RMMRP000 running in the background daily.

But the job of planning file consistency check RMMDVM10 is not set up for all plant.

May I ask what the implication is without the program?

Please kindly shed some light on this.

Hi Sally

This program basically check for inconsistencies in the planning file. It will delete unnecessary entries and recalculate the low-level code when necessary. You don't need to schedule it as a daily job, but running it at least once a month would be nice, as it can help to speed up a little bit the MRP performance and make sure your materials are being planned in the right sequence.
