Hi,
Is there any reference document / SAP Consulting Note which lists down the necessary TSDM activation / customization settings for using the Supplier Collaboration Scenarios in SNC.
I am looking for something on the lines of SAP Note #1178483 which is for "SNC 7.0 Order Documents: Required Customizing"
Note:
1. We are using SNC 7.0
2. Also the BI client is not connected to the SNC system.

Bharath
Hi Bharath
The note you mentioned should actually take care
But sometimes you need to activate manually
Check the activation status of the Planning Object Structure:
o Execute transaction SE16, enter table /SAPAPO/TSPLOBKO and press
F7 (Table Contents)
o Check entries with PLOBID '9AINVM1' and '9ADCF01'
o If the OBJSTAT field shows a red light, execute transaction
/SCA/TSDM09 for Time Series Data Type INVM1 and DFC01, choosing
option Activate Planning Object Str.
Best Regards

Hi Vinod,
I followed your instructions. Both the POS were not activated initially (i.e., the OBJSTAT field had a red light against it).
So, I went ahead and tried activating the POS thru /SCA/TSDM09. But I get the following error message:
"You can only work in client 001" The error details are:
You can only work in client 001
Message no. BRAIN009
Diagnosis
Your SAP BW system can only operate in client 001.
Procedure
Log on in client 001.
As I mentioned previously, the SNC client is not connected to the BI client.
Can anybody tell me what is the way ahead..

Bharath

It appears that a basic setting SCM BI setting is incorrectly set up - Check table RSADMINA, field BWMANDT. It should be setup to be the client you are logged in to (it will show 001 currently). You will probably get the same error if you just access transaction RSA1. Get your BASIS team to fix it.
Remember that all SAP systems (including SCM) are built on the Netweaver platform, so they have a BI component delivered as standard (whether you use it or not). Planning Object Structures generate BI Infocubes in the background. So it does not matter if your SNC system is connected to your actual BI reporting system. You still need SCM BI to be setup correctly.

Hi Rishi,
Thanks for your answer.
Our issue is we are planning to use multiple clients for the SNC Dev system, say
200 - Config & Customizing
300 - RICEFW Development
400 - Unit Testing
and these systems are connected to the corresponding clients in the ECC system.
So to which SNC client should the BI system be setup?

Bharath
Hi Bharath,
There is no need to activate TSDM activation / customization
Make sure you have implemented steps mention in the SAP Note #1178483 .

Hi,
I think there is no need for TSDM activation / customizing.
We implemented SNC Supplier Collaboration and I can't remeber we had to activate TSDM, only ODM settings...
