Number Range issue in CRM Sales transactions

Dear Experts,

I have implemented CRM_ORDERADM_H_BADI this badi for Restricting the Number Range for crm transactions..

Number is generating but the below error is coming..

Diagnosis

You have attempted to enter a transaction number which is not allowed for the transaction type.

Procedure

Enter a number between 0060000000 and 0064999999. Make sure that you issue a number which has not already been issued.

If i uncomment the above implementation is working fine..

Please suggest is this badi is correct or not?

Restricting the Number Range for crm transactions which badi we have to implement? Please suggest..

Hi

The number range assigned to your transaction type is External and hence it is asking to enter the number manually.

When you create the transaction pleas ensure to maintain number between - 0060000000 and 0064999999

For example - 60000001 , 60000002 , so on so forth...

Check the number range assigned to the transaction via IMG-CRM-Transactions-Basic Settings-Define Transaction types. In the detail page for the transaction check if this number range is allowed for this transaction.
