inspection lot issue

hello experts,

this is qm issue.

in inspection lot certain lot quantity is entered in quality and it is not cleared.

for all previous inspection lot system status is UD ICCO SPCO

and the one that is not cleared its system status is LTCA CHCR

now the question is how to clear this one.

pls tell me how to proceed.

LTCA is lot canceled.Also from the status it can be seen that ,this lot is manually created.

Now what left is check MMBE where stock is lying.If it is in Quality means there possibility of lot exists with SPRQ or SPST status.

now they have changed the status from LTCA CHCR To REL,CALC PRII

Now the question is about the particular inspection lot they have entered it in quality and it is not cleared.

my first observation is system status that is rectified now.

Now pls tell me how to proceed further to solve this issue.

Hi Santosh,

Now REL CALC says the lot is released for further processing and Sample calculation is done.

You will have to first put the results and make a usage decision.

After recording the results, the status will turn in to INSP RREC.

After Usage decision, automatic Stock posting will be done & Status will change to UD ICCO....

Please revert back for issues if any or close the thread.

Hey Santosh,

Since your Inspection lot status is REL CALC

Run T code QE51N, go to Inspection lot tab

Enter Inspection lot # (remove the filters for Data and any other is there if)

Then record results for the MICs

Valuate and close them

then

got to

QA11 and perform UD

If you are inspecting against the inspection point of Physical sample, pls release the Samples also from QPR4

Or else you can now Run the T code QA11 directly, enter the inspection lot No, execute the valuation of the Inspection lot and save.

Noe inspection lot status will be UD..............

Hi,

You can use QA32 for all purpose e.g. result recording, Usage decision and stock posting.

Give the selection criteria in QA32 screen. Select the inspection lot and click on result recording button.

Do result recording and save it and come back to previous screen.

Now click on Usage decision button. Give UD here and select the tab "inspection lot stock". And put quantity in to unrestricted stock. and save it.

It will help to do the same.

Hi Santosh,

I hope u are using the QA32 TXN. (All the Txn's can be done through QA32)

Put the txn and give the selection criteria. like date material and other things & Execute the report.

Now you will find the inspection lot in the list. (Step 1 can be skipped. but please check with the corresponding person or go ahed with the process mentioned below.)

1. Choose the inspection lot and Click Results button.

U will be taken to Results recording screen. Put the results for the respective MIC's. After filling the results, select all and Valuate the Results.(Valuate option is same as check button in Routing).

Accept and reject the mic's based on the specification given in Quality Plan.

Save the results and refresh the qa32 page. Now you can see the status change to INSP RREC.

2. Select the inspection lot again and choose Usage decision.

Here you will have to give the UD code configured. choose from the list of codes available and save the Inspection lot.

System might ask to close the Characteristics. choose Yes.

automatic posting will happen. Refresh the page to see the status update.

Please revert back for issues if any.

Hi Santosh,

Go to QS51 and check the indicator "Background Processing of Stock Screen"for the UD code.

Hi Santosh,

Fist check weather the lot status is UD or not?

If it is UD,

Now let me know weather u have given appropriate code or not??

I.e if the inspection lot origin is 01 i.e Goods receipt, you should give the corresponding UD code defined by the consultant.

If it is 04, they will have a different code.

If you have given the correct UD then,

Check T Code QS51, Put Catalog as 3 or any other Catalog configured for Usage decisions.

Give the plant and run the txn.

Select the Selected set that u have given as UD code in Usage decision screen,

Choose selected set codes.

Now against the code that you have given, check weather Stock screen background is ticked or not.

If it is not ticked, activate it and save it.

i have checked that one background stock posting indicator has been activated but still unable to get status as automatic stock posting has been done ie STPO.

This lot is in canncelled Mode, First in QA02 reset its same size. thenn take it to release mode and then do is UD,

Dear Santosh,

If you click on the Blue button in inspection lot QA02 or QA03, you will come to know the clarification about the System status fo the inspection lot.

What ever is stated as UD.....SPCO means Usage Decision -

---

> Completed and SPCO means Stock Posting Completed.

It means this inspection lot is completed, you cant execute UD,since it is already done.

And for LTCA means Lot canceled, you can't perform any thing on canceled lots.
