Hi,

What group policy have you set for domain user? You need assign enough right to start with. The domain user must be B1database owner. When it works, lower the permission to try.

Thanks,

The difference is: the domain user is new to the database. You have to assign user role to the db.

Ok. There is no diffrent with active directory or without. In fact, the problem on my SQL Server 2008 services. I repeat to set password licenses on SQL server.

hi andimaha,

greetings of the day.

Windows server 2008 when connected via workgroup to clients is different and there is no security left in it.

but when u come across ACDC or Active Directory users which controls the clients via domain, then its a quite a serious and different issue, as security then plays a very important point here.

so, if u have created a domain and installed AD, then its important that u go to groups policy and ascertain all the users/clients their specific roles and responsibilities, etc.

this can be done by going to the server manager, roles and authorities in the Windows Server 2008 and/or Windows Server 2008R2.

thanks and regards.
