Dear Gurus,
we plan to update Solution Manager from SP18 to SP25.
One of our concerns is related to Charm. Actually, due to code changes in the Charm workflow, we'd like to ensure there won't be any regression. what would you suggest?
1) Adding additional mandants to the sandbox system (one for every system in the transport route)
2) Creating virtual systems in TMS
Sincerly,
Ludovic
Hi Ludovic,
I don't understand what you are asking. Can you provide more detail and clarity please?

I will try to clarify the issue.
As regression test, we would like to simulate a Charm workflow within the sandbox environment. The original Workflow is based on validation steps accross DEV - INT - QUA - PPD - PRD.
Question is : can I define virtual systems in TDM/CHARM like I would do to bypass a system during transports in order to simulate our complete landscape?
Kind Regards,
Ludovic
Hi Ludovic,
If I were you I would define additional clients in your SolMan (e.g. a landscape like SOL/100 --> SOL/200 --> SOL/300). Using virtual systems is not as good a test because you would not actually be able to test the movement of transports with your new customizing.
Good luck and happy ChaRMing,
Jon
