Hello together,
We are currently in the design phase of a ME 5.2 project and I'm searching for an idea how to solve the following case:
The customer uses repetitive manufacturing where for planned orders of ERP SFC's will be generated for each item. Products need to be locked out for tests time-based. This would be no issue when using NC-codes and related routings for test and repair. Unfortunately the test time is much longer than the entire production process and the locked out products cannot return to the original planned order.
Nevertheless the products can be used when the next planned order will be produced. This means that the locked-out products return to the production process where normal routing is processed. To my knowledge an assignment exist between planned order and SFC numbers.
Do you can advise an option how we could implement the return process? I'm afraid that the connection between planned order and SFC must be liquidated but I couldn't find a suitable activity.
I'd appreciate any feedback and hope that this requirement is already known...
Gerrit

Hi Gerrit,
Not sure if I correctly understood your production process, but in general it sounds like executing Change Production activity with re-assigning SFC to another Shop Order and production routing.

Sergiy
