Higher level item

Dear abap gurus,

I need to find higher level item of a given item in VBAP table.

I undersatnd that having STLNR ne INITIAL and UEPOS EQ INITIAL, makes sure it is a higher level item.

But what if there are more than 1 BOM, in that case multiple items show up for the condition above.

How do i get the higher level item material for a given item material.
