How to implement Note 1555535 - FAQs: Migration of PCA Report Paintinter

Hi

This is with reference to the SAP Note 1555535 - FAQs: Migration of PCA Report Painter reports to NewGL

Has anybody implement this note in new GL functionality. If yes, please revert how to migrate the 8 series to new GL and how to executue from front end.

Also how to add fields mentioned in this note.

I have already migrate the reports for with no pre-requisit required but not getting these report.

Hi

There are certain prerequisites that you need to do:

1. The reports can be migreated only if you have New GL Activated and you are EhP3 (Minimum). Thereafter activate Business Function 'FIN_GL_CI_1' under the path SPRO -> 'Activate Business Functions' >'ENTERPRISE_BUSINESS_FUNCTIONS'

2. There after import the Library 0FS and 0FL from client 000 using T Code GR29.

3. You have to use the T Code FAGL_RMIGR to migrate the existing PCA Reports to New GL. This T Code will be available only when the Business Function defined in Step 1 is activate.

4. During the report Transfer a very common issue is the message no GO-009. You may have to implement SAP Note 1112860 in your 000 and transaction clients

5. There is quite a possibility that you may be using SKF in your Classical PCA. So you may choose to use library 0FS in New GL instead of 0FL. In such a case, you to define the variable FAGLFLEXR. You may need to do the following steps

a. Call T Code GCI3 in 000 Client

b Create new entry

c Make the following entries:

Table name = FAGLFLEXR

Table type = VL (if this field is greyed out, enter MAST in the command field(where you enter the transaction code) and hit 'Enter' to activate the field).

d. Save the changes and assign the entry to a transport request.

e. Call txn SE38 and execute program RGZZGLUX (Caution: this program also regenerates some posting routines etc so the program should only beexecuted when no posting activities are being carried out (particularly important in productive system))

f. The customizing changes will need to be transported throughout the system landscape.

This procedure will declare the table(FAGLFLEXR) in SAPLGUMD,thereby

making the table available for reporting purposes. This customizing

change will need to be transported within the system landscape.

Now use FAGL_RMIGR to migrate the existing report to new gl

Thanks for detail reply.

I have done the changes as per your instruction. but these reports are still not appearing in PCA information system.

Do I need to do any additional activity apart from mentioned in your response?

While migrating PCA report (TC FAGL_RMIGR , step no 3 in you reply), i kept the destination library as 0FL. This I have done as per note 1555535 in which target library as 0FL. Do you think problem is because of this?

I think i am very close to solution. need little bit more help from you.

Hey, can you check in GRR2, under the library 0FS or 0FL, if you are getting them or not. If no, what is the message you have got in FAGL_RMIGR

Thanks for response.

I have check the GGR2 and following reports available:-

Library 0FS - No report available

Library 0FL - FL-PCA50 TO 53, FLE1-001, FLE2-001, FLW1-FCT, FLW1-QRT, FLW1-YTD reports are available

All 8A series reports are available under TC KE83.

Any idea how to get the data in these report.

Hi

Have you migrated your existing PCA Report to New GL Using FAGL_RMIGR. What is the message you have got. Ideally after migration, you will get a warning message and the report will be available under the said library. For eg, your report in 8A is ZA62, than you have to follow the following steps:

1. Go to FAGL_RMIGR, specify the source library and Report Name (The report you want to migrate)

2. Specify the Target Library, say 0FS or 0FL

3. System will give you a prompt that Library Group is not defined, in case you want a new library group.

4. Once you execute the report will than be available under the destination library group

Thanks for response.

I think i have done all steps given by you. But data still not appearing in reports.

One step I have not done as per note no 1555535 is to add fields HOART, STGAR and EPRCTR in New GL secnario to store the data in table FAGLFLEXT.

Can you please guide me how to add these fields. I tried to add these field under Finanacal -> ledger -> add customer fields but not able to add.

please help me to add above fields. I feel once above fields added, data will start flowing into reports.

Dear Sanil,

We are in a migration process of New GL. I have gone through your docs related to Std reports of PCA after migration, however what about customize PCA reports to be handled after migration.
