Processchains - Automatic deletion of similar full loads

Hi

I have made a process chain that loads financial data into BW. Some of the plan data loads uses the full load method. Therefore it is neccesary to delete prior requests with the same selection criteria.

I have included a process to delete the requests in the process chain however this works very slowly ad there are aggreagates on the InfoCubes that need to be refreshed when loading the data.

Is there a smarter way to do this?

If you don't automatically compress the aggregates, then deletion out of aggregates will be fast and will not require rebuilding the aggregate. Query performance, however, may suffer, if aggregates are not compressed.

You specify this in the Admin Workbench, right mouse on InfoCube, roll up, then remove the autocompress flag for aggregates.
