Delegation in MSS

I'm having a problem and would like to see some alternatives for it. I already used the Substitute ( A010 ) on R/3 System and have no problem, but know I need to use it again in integration with PORTAL/MSS (Manager Self Service). For example, I have a Manager and he gonna take off vacation. On the R3 system he delegate a substitute for the administrative tasks and consequently he ( the substitute ) it needs ( automatically) to have those MSS Roles in Portal that correspond to his Manager.

Someone here already had this kind of situation?

Hi Daniel, how did you setup substitution in r/3? did you use a standard relationship or a custom one? How do you manage backend authorizations when a manager sets up a delegate.
