    Hello Parag,

You can refer to the example programs in SAP for ALV. For example:

The following are the Demo programs for ALV: Hierarchical-sequential list ( based on the flight model )

    BALVHD01

    BALVHD01_GROUP

    BALVHT01

    BCALV_TEST_HIERSEQ_LIST

These programs should provide you with the information you need. Though the OO version of ALV Grid is used, the Field-catalog concept should essentially remain the same.

    Regards,

    Anand Mandalika.

    Hi Parag,

you can use the import parameter I_INTERNAL_TABNAME of the function module REUSE_ALV_FIELDCATALOG_MERGE with the name of the HEADER and ITEM tables that you are using for your ALV. In this case you have to call the function module twice first for the header with parameter I_INTERNAL_TABNAME = 'IT_HEADER'

    and second time with I_INTERNAL_TABNAME = 'IT_ITEM'

In case if you are manually building the field catalog use the IT_FCAT-TABNAME = 'IT_HEADER' or 'IT_ITEM' for the diff. fields of header and item data that you want to display. for further queries feel free to mail me on satyadev.d@isgnovasoft.com

    regards,

    Satya
