How to return completed SFC to handled operations or to repair routing by a

Dear experts.

How to return completed SFC to handled operations which would be to any pre-operation or to repair routing by SDK API? As after OQC,if there is some NG,it will deal with the SFC like this.Or is there other method to do this?

Hi Alexander,

it works with SFCs in status DONE.

I tried it with SFCs which I have created by "Inventory Receipt". But this does not work.

I would need this for a migration scenario: in normal case these SFCs are use by assembly, but in some special casea I want to do a special preparation and so I tried to send them to a route with "change production". Do you have some idea on this ?

Michi,

Have you considered the utilization of Special operations?

Special operation can pull SFCs in Done status or in Work from other operations.

The only requierement for the special operation is to be the first step on the router

Once that the operation is done you can send them back by setting a disposition at the end of the router or by change production.

Not sure if theres a method for this,but you may want to try setting them inqueue at a special operation as well.

Michi,

You cannot use Change Production for "SFCs created by Inventory Receipt" because they are not SFCs but Inventory IDs.

Inv IDs are external objects which are not meant for processing on site because they just come from stock as ready for consumption. In case you want to create SFCs which are similar to Inv IDs but can be processed, then you should use Trackable SFCs instead of Inv IDs.

Hi Sergiy, I do not get done SFCs into selection for change production in ME GUI.

Can you find Done SFCs you expected to select using SFC Report (DM700)? Please also make sure that you set correct filters on each tab in SFC Browse window when you select SFC for Change Production.

In case 'Allow Done SFCs' activity rules is set to TURE and you can find Done SFCs using SFC Report, but they are not available for Change Production activity, please create a support ticket for it.

For change production activity there is a rule "Allow Done SFCs" which can be set to TRUE. Nevertheless I can not select a done SFC to set it onto a production step with activity "change production". This would be what you are questioning for.

Yes, it can put the Done SFC in queue at an operation and thus change the status from Done to In Queue.
