Number range of Confirmation number of MIC while result recording

Dear executive,

Please provide your opinion or suggestion on issue faced on number range of confirmation number generated for MIC during result recording of an lot.

Due to very close actual number range of confirmation number of MIC system is prompting an warning message and not allowing to create the inspection lot when production order is uploaded from an planning interface in to SAP system. Please suggest can confirmation number for MIC can be archived , or any new number range can be assigned it to it.

In number range object QMERKRUECK in SNRO (Confirmation no Char)warning is also being maintained as 2 %.

Transaction QCC0 > Quality Inspection > Results Recording > Define Number Ranges for Characteristic Confirmation (transaction QE29)

Click 'Status' button

Change current number '0' and save

Make sure the number range 'QMERKRUECK' has buffer. If not, you may meet error when new inspection lot.

And you should maintain this at production client directly, not transport.

If the number range has buffer, many numbers are skipped before.

You can initialize the current number '0' then SAP will set new current number automatically for new inspection lot.

New current number will be changed with very small number.

Kindly also suggest whats is the way or what I need to perform to reset or intialize the current number to 0.
