PFAL run in inser mode-creating new BP...causing problem

Hi Experts,

When we run PFAL in update mode in HR System,a new Business Partner gets generated in SRM system causing the problem for users to use their account.

Can you please suggest the Infotype/mode combinations which can be used to solve this issue.

Also, what combination should be used in HR to replicate the existing user's pernr/position/roles with his same old Business partner in SRM.

Is it insert mode or update mode?

Check what changes was done to the Org Structure

Check for overlapping position assignments
