Is it possible to have multiple local currency attributes?

Hi,

Is there a way to have more than one local currency? The user is requesting the ability to create shopping carts in USD and GBP. We are using SRM 5.0.

I believe you can create a shopping cart with different currencies for different items.

Yes, you can have multiple local currencies. But only one can be defaulted in the attributes and user can overwrite it with other one in the SC.

The Total Value of the SC defaults to what is set in the attributes. How can the user overwrite that?

For example, the line items are in GBP but the total value defaults to USD because that is what is in the attributes.

Yes you are right, total value defaults to the user defaulted currency. In that case do not maintain any default currency (Remove default check box when there are multiple currencies) and let user choose the currency while creating SC at line item. Then the same currency will be shown in the total value too.

But keep in mind when you change the currency at line item at later stage, the total value currency will not be changed.
