Extractor enhancement - data ?

Hi, i have to enhancing 2 fields to an existing HR extractor.

How will i pull in the historical records for these two fields?

How will the delta be handled ?

Hi,

Please follow below steps:

1. Goto RSA6--> select the 'Enhance the Extract structure'.

2. Select "Append extract structure"--> add the new fields(ZZfields)

3. Activate the datasource and check the fields in maintain datasource.

4. By default newfields have selected as HIDE.

we need to do UNHIDE.if not those are not availble in BI side.

5. Check the data in RSA3.

6.Replicate the datasource in BI.

7. Select the repairfull request from infopakcage.

select Infopackage>select full update>select repairfull request--> select schedule.

you can get the historical data from ECC side.

8. By useing repairfull request, it wont disturbing the delta mechanisam.

hi ,

First enhance the data source , check that both column getting right values in RSA3.

Goto BI .

Delete the data from Infoprovider and PSA .

Include those fields in transformation .

Now reload the Infoprovioder.

If you want values to be added for the newly enhanced field, then you have to delete the contents from your target and reload it. You have to perform a FULL update.

And for delta, once you finish the reload task, you can perform Init without data transfer and schedule your delta's to run through PC.
