Comparing two years of data in one report

Hi all,

I am trying to report two years of data in one report. But I am getting same current year data for previous and current years. I have defined characteristics variables and added them in the 'selections' of the 'structure'but I am not able to achieve the desired results. Here is the example:

Char1 char2 total_units revenue2004 revenue2003

value1 value2 250ea $255,000.00 $255,000.00

value22 value33 150ea $340,000.00 $340,000.00

I am getting the reults like that of shown above. To be more specific: I have created two variables for characteristic called 'Billing doc. Date' named them as 'current_year and previous_year'and added them to approprite 'selection' in the 'structure'.

Any help would be apprecited. Thanks.

    Hey,

    You can created 2 restricted keyfigures and only use 1 variable. But in the restricted key figure for last year you give the variable an offset of -1.

    The offset you can fill when you right click on the selected variable for the restricted keyfigure. That is done in the screen where you create your restricted key figure.
