Hello Experts,
Can someone explain what '#' symbolizes in the query designer. Does it mean that the data has not been uploaded into the infocube or the master data is not activated or data which is not configured.
Though the values can be seen in the query designer why do they appear as '#' in the BEx report. Any explanation on this would be greated appreciated. Please let me know if there are any documents on this value.
Thanks,
Anjali
Hi Anjali,
'#' in BEx report means the values have not been assigned. Did you activate your Master data. Check that first. Goto RSA1 -> Right click on InfoObject -> select "Master Data Activate".
If that does not help, Check the master data view table of the InfoObject. Are your new records in the InfoObject marked with version "A".
This should help. If not, please explain your problem in detail.
Thanks.

Hello Gopi,
Thanks for your prompt response. As of now i don't have authorizations for RSA1 but i would check the activation of master data once i get it. So you r trying to say that the reason for the values being shown in the query designer and not being displayed in the excel sheet is to do either with the activation or upload of data. Am i right?
Thanks,
Anjali
