XI 3.0 Mail-Adapter Problem

Hi everyone ,

I have a problem with a XI Mail-Adapter configured as a Sending-Adapter.

The adapter should connect to a local mailserver and poll every message that has been sent to a specific account.

I've tested the mailserver using Outlook and it works , so the problem isn't the mailserver.

I provided the account name and the password and the POP3-URL : pop3://IP-ADRESS.

When I activate the adapter configuration via the Integration Directory it doesn't start.

When I look into the Adapter Monitoring I see the following error message:

D041422_MAIL_TEST_BS:D041422_MAIL_OUT_CHANNEL not intiliazed: mail agent null

But I have no idea what that error message means.

Any ideas ?

Hi Frank,

According to the documentation when you use IMAP4 as a transport protocol, the URL information should be started with IMAP so try entering POP only not POP3

without "3"
