Hi,
Is it possible to change the description of a KPI without deleting and recreating it?
Thanks,
François

Francois,
Once a KPI has been saved there are limitations on editing options. The Name and Description are both locked, as well as Level, Framework and Status (inherited from Framework assignment.
You will probably have to recreate the KPIs you are looking to change.
Additionally, I have a suggestion on naming KPIs. The Name is the technical name for the KPI and the Description is the display name seen in the user interface. I suggest using the GRI category and number for the technical name (Name). So you would have a KPI that would be:
Name: EN3_FF_B
Description: Fossil Fuels
KPIs are listed alphabetically in the KPI Library of SuPM and when using Description you want to create a title that will be easily recognizable and understood by the average business user. An example of Energy (GRI category EN3) KPIs might have Description names like Geothermal Power, Coal, Fossil Fuels, Ethanol, Natural Gas, Solar Power, and Wind Power. When the KPI Library is sorted by Description, these will be scattered throughout the list. When you use the GRI catergory and number for the technical name or NAME, then these will all be grouped together when you view by Name.
Hope this helps,
Bob
