F2041 error message getting while creating customer

by using tcode Xd01 i tried to create customer, but it is throwing error like message id F2041

Hello Mahesh,

Apart from the above checks, also check the number range assignment with respect to the customer account group.

T-code OBAR – To find Number range assigned to Customer Account group.

T-code XDN1 – To Check Number range interval setting. If the external field is ticked, then customer number needs to be manually entered else one may get this error message.

Hi Mahesh,

Welcome to the Forum.

While creating the Customer master the account group is the required input fiel. I guess you are missing that so kindly Specify the appropriate account group. For example in standard SAP you can use 0001.

Hi Atul,

Thanks for the reply.I mentioned account group as 0001 at XD01 then the error is triggering.The error message no is f2041.

I am unable to create customers with this A/C group(0001).But with other sold to party A/C groups i could able to create

customers.The error is triggering for this A/C group only.

Since Account Group 0001 is a standard one, I doubt, partner determination assignment is missing in IMG. Go to SD > Basic Functions > Partner Determination > Set Up Partner Determination > Set Up Partner Determination for Customer Master.

There check the settings are line with other account group which is not creating the issue.
