bar-code architecture

I am looking for best practices of bar-code integration with SAP Asset Management. We will use Intermec scanner devices and zebra bar code printers. Do we need a middleware to synchronize with SAP? Should we use SAP Console?

    Hi Benjamin,

    From my experience you should only use console if the "predifined" screens/functions that are available are a good fit to your business. If not, you will end up doing large amounts of programming.

    There are other products from partner companies that can help you, such as those offered by Sky Technologies, or Mobisys. You should look for something that is SAP Certified.
