Change Logfile location

Hello,

I would like to have all logfiles of my EP6 SP2 Patch 5 on AIX in /var/log. I found a lot of Logfile locations in the configtool and changed the location succesfull. But I can't change the location and the size of system.log, I don't find a configuration. The .../cluster/server/log/system.log is more than 1GB, can I change this anywhere?

So, now I have nearly all logfiles in the correct folder, only some intractable files are not changeable:

.../j2ee/j2ee_00/cluster/server/logviewer_server.log

.../j2ee/j2ee_00/cluster/server/config_audit.0.log

Is there anybody, who knows how I can change the location of this?

Also I still need an idea to configure the max size of the system.log

Hello Anke,

..j2ee\j2ee_00\cluster\server\services\log\work\saplogging.config contains config information for system.log file. We also have similar problem after P5 and I am planning to open an OSS message on this.

Earlier to P5 settings in saplogging.config were same but there was no problem.

Is anybody else facing the same problem or know the solution?
