EHP4 Installation on SAP ERP 6.0 - Space requirements

Dear Experts

We are planning to upgrade our current ECC 6 EHP3 system to EHP4. As I am going through the documentation I saw that there is a temporary space requirement of 100G for shadow instance.

Currently we have:

C: Windows installation Directory

😧 Oracle(Free Spece 120GB)

E: SAP

F: 270(temporary storage)

So using SAPEHPi is it necessary to have shadow instance created on 😧 or I can have it on F: as well.

Please let me know what are the options available.

At one point the system asks you to create a new tablespace using brspace. There you can create the tablespace on a different disk.

However, the new tablespace contains the program code for the system (PSAP<SID>701), it will stay where you will delete the old tablespace.PSAP<SID>700. You can, however, move the new tablespace to the old location.
